For starters FloRiderz have to travel to be taken serious in the IPB community. When I saw you guys play last year, you played to the level of your competetion which is a sign of young team that has the potential to become a very good team. My recommendation is that you guys start by playing in the B division in Dallas which is very cometetive but not dominating like the A division can be. I beleive DC and Chicago will have limited spots so Dallas B might be the best option.

So I take it VA won the tournament?

Dbandit thank you for the analysis. I was part of Flo Riderz and this tournament was fun this year we would of liked to see the same competition as last year. We ended up loosing to VA in the final four in overtime. There was a controversial ending to the regulation which I believe the VA player was out of bounds before he could tie the game and send it to overtime. But overall tournament was a great experience and we enjoy these events. I definitely thought Flo Riderz represented this tournament only loosing to VA in 2 highly competitive games. Also our team would like more feedback on our team, style, or anything in general so that we can improve for future tournaments. www.shootitout.net for more info.

We are 3 1/2 weeks away and have a few spots left in our basketball tournament. Due to the lack of teams registered for flag football and the registrations for the talent show, we have decided to cancel our first attempt to host an IndoPak flag football tournament and talent competition here in FL. We will add these additional events to our weekend next year! Shoot It Out V is still on and we are getting close to cutting off registration time in order to release a schedule, if you are interested in bringing your team to compete in the basketball tournament please register asap!

We have a few new teams in both sports and people are beginning to inquire about competing in the talent show so things are looking bright in the sunshine state right now! The talent show is not limited to talent in FL, if you are in town for sports but have a talent in any of the categories we are holding our competition in, feel free to register today! A list of registered teams and contestants will be released in 1 week, a month before our IndoPak weekend, so please register if you are planning to make it out on www.shootitout.net today!

Both the basketball and flag football tournaments will be held in downtown Orlando, FL this year. We have the facilities to host up to 16 teams in each sport. If your team is ready to get your game on in FL, please register at www.shootitout.net asap because although we would like to have everyone play, entry is based on a first come first serve basis.

The flag football tournament will be held on a nice outdoor field with bermuda grass known as Thunder Field of the Florida Citrus Bowl following IPF rules. This venue is located in downtown Orlando. For now the basketball tournament will remain at Champions Sports Complex where it was held last year but if it is possible, the basketball tournament will be moved downtown as well. It is a 17 minute drive from the parking lot of one event to the other. Thank you to the teams that have already registered. The forms are now updated so please register asap if you are planning to come down in January.

I moved to Michigan for a few years after the first Shoot It Out tourney in '98. I heard about the one ya'll came down for. That was thrown by some other guys in Tampa at the time.

We won in 1998 in Tampa, but I do not believe it was Frank's tournament.

Just an update here, the registration forms are up on our actual tourney site at www.shootitout.net please register as soon as possible to have a spot held. We are proud to announce that the Jamil family has given us the honor of doing both the basketball and football tournaments in honor of a brother that all of us that are a part of IndoPak Sports Internationally lost, Salman A. Jamil. 2009 will be the 10th anniversary of this loss and he will be remembered in FL so a special thanks to Irfan for getting permission from your family for us and giving us that privilage. We have decided to stick with the IPF rules for our flag football tournament. For now the flag football tournament will be indoors because the turf is pretty...

$350/Team for tournament entry into A division
$300/Team for tournament entry into B division
1 Participant/team for skills contests (Slam Dunk/3-Pt)
$5 entry fee/spectator per day

-History of Champions: 1998 - Tennessee Vols / 2001 - Dallas Bandits / 2004 - NY D-Unit / 2008 - Dallas Bandits

-This tournament will be held at the Orlando Sports Center in Orlando, FL.
